Nowhere in the B&O help article about the status light does it indicate blinking orange, and blinking red supposedly has to do with bluetooth pairing issue or low battery issue, neither of which makes any sense in this case

Fans of heavy bass based music, especially hip hop and electronica, will be incredibly happy with these as well as those listening to anything else that might require clear, near perfect reproduction

Bass heavy and complex tracks like pop, rock, and R&B sound lively and upbeat with moderately heavy bass that is well controlled and does not overwhelm the rest of the track.

This makes it very easy to see at a glance which side goes on which ear even in a near-dark room, unlike most other headphones which seem to put a tiny L and R somewhere difficult to see
