The Sony MDR1000X/B phones sounded good.

In fact, I saw a recent article that suggests they have surpassed the Bose phones as the best ANC phones available.

I have noticed that when my phone signals a new e-mail while i have the headphones on, the volume for the music drops WAY down and doesn't recover for a lot longer than I'd expect

The H4s were the third most comfortable phones I looked

These phones are phenomenally accurate across the spectrum, IMHO.OK.

The B&O's are comfortable and can be worn for extended periods, like I did this afternoon
