    • AudioTechnica MSR7NC - Excellent clarity but too much sibilance at high volume and a bit weaker bass comparing to
    • My personal bass torture test for audio equipment is the opening of Chavez's "The Guard Attacks", which features a very loud and very low bass sweep which causes problems in most headphones, which either "wuss out" at the bottom or have periods of funky resonance or even crackling (ouch!)
    • they are well balanced but have great bass when needed and not needed
    • The bass on these are loose, bloomy, and distracting

    • Some headphones, such as the V-Moda Crossfade, boost the bass a bit too much for my taste.
    • Other head-sets tended to over do the bass or blur various tones together
    • I think bass became more powerful after break-in, but overall sound is well balanced for any kinds of music
    • The bass is definitely there, but not booming
    • Well I'll tell you it improves the highs, lows, and makes the bass sound less muddy and all frequencies a lot less distant.
    • Bass sounds the way bass should, meaning it is lush, vibrant and resonant without being distorted
    • Crisper sound with more clear bass
    • They aren't as nice looking to my tastes but they are equally as well built and have a more enjoyable sound (for those who like added bass in their headphone sound)
    • For me the H8's have a thick, full sound and they are way to bass heavy and distort, and the original H6 headphones did not have enough bass and sounded too thin, however the new H6's fill that gap perfectly
    • I think the bass is messier on these than on my Parrot Zic 2.0.
    • While I do love a good bass, these headphones dont exaggerate the bass, unless while playing a song with a lot of bass, which I love
    • I prefer more of a neutral sound that then lets me boost the bass by adjusting equalizer settings if I want more bass, instead of having the bass boost pre-packaged into the headphone's sound.
    • All of the funky bass draped me with this new H6
    • Well-balanced sound with a natural, rich bass[+

    • Compared to the memory of he 1st gen H6, the bass surprised the heck out of me
    • - Stronger bass comparing to H6 but often uncontrolled (too bassy)
    • They have a modern headphones sound, with a moderate bass boost and mild treble boost (at least compared to my Oppo PM-3's which seem are flat with a slight treble roll off)
    • The Bang & Olufsen sound—well-balanced with a natural, rich bass—brought a presence to audio that was mind-blowing

    • Special mention for superb bass.
    • Better bass than any of my studio AKGs• Better base than the 1st generation• Sound stage is great for a closed back headphone• Comfortable• Great looksCons:
    • The bass became much more prominent and punchy, and the treble extension improved
    • These headphones taught me the important difference between lively, fun bass and overemphasized, muddy bass.
    • The bass is deep, natural and well-articulated, with a smooth, extended high end
    • The guitars didn't have the sparkle I've grown accustomed to from my own EQing on worse headphones but the voice came through beautifully but the bass felt almost overwhelming
    • - Stronger bass comparing to H6 but often uncontrolled (too bassy)
    • The H6 are definitely more bass-heavy than the Sony studio cans I have for other purposes—many people should find the H6 a happy medium without tipping over into the cartoonishly bass-happy Beats character
    • Good B & O!
    • however, the package arrived without the plastic seal, and the nice B&O pouch was not there
    • I was really looking forward to experiencing the fabulous B&O Beoplay Play H6 headphones designed by Jakob Wagner, a mega-experienced headphone designer of note
    • All the reasons why I knocked off a
