Even though the B&O Play headphones are advertised as portable and to be used with portable devices, I highly recommend them for serious listening with a dedicated headphone amp, high quality recordings, and compact discs

Got the H6 2nd Gen today and realized after 30 seconds of use that these are the best sounding headphones I've used

The cable in the box will be great for travel but for every day use I need more length and a 1/4" adapter

These appear to be intended for portable use; they seem to be driven just fine off of my phone, but if you're the type of person thinking of spending this much money on a set of headphones, you're probably the type of person that already has a portable headphone amp.

Having owned a Bang & Olufsen audio system for over 30 years, I was not at all surprised by the wonderful listening experience I had using these headphones.

The detail and clarity of these headphones are amazing, with great punchy bass, an expansive soundstage, and it is one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever used.
