Bang & Olufsen Beoplay P2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in Microphone - Sand Stone

    • The unit has only one multi-function button that works as power button, a Bluetooth pairing button as well as a mute button during calls
    • One button cute but a pain in the butt
    • Pairing is pretty standard – press and hold the button till indicator LED turns white along with an audible beep, find Beoplay P2 on your phones Bluetooth setting and connect
    • It also doesn't have a great button interface
    • One button cute but a pain in the butt
    • Within 3 days of receiving it, it got stuck with the white light on, even the hard reset button in the back of the unit, it simply stayed up.
    • There's only one button the unit that serves a few purposes (efficient.?!)
    • The device works based on taps/shakes or a "button" on the underside.
    • You can play/ pause the P2 by tapping it but the Sony has Pause/Play as well as volume and power buttons on it
    • The buttons were a little difficult to figure out but we were able to go online and figure everything out
    • Unfortunately I was unable to find a different manufacturer of speakers with a c type microusb plug, and a flimsy b type plug is normally the first thing to break on a speaker rendering it useless.
    • I finally only got it to work after downloading the (free) B&O Play app
    • The volume level is the most perplexing issue - guess B&O quality control continues to lag (obviously the company has no idea about or interest in Six Sigma). In an attempt to “fix” the problem I have uninstalled and reinstalled the B&O app, deleted and reestablished the Bluetooth connection, but neither seemed to make a difference.
    • This is the most powerful of all current B&O portable speakers.
    • The instructions are online, buried at the B&O website – annoying!-Charge does seem to last a “long”
    • B&O wins!I played Spotify on both speakers with the same songs by Led Zeppelin, Audioslave, NWA, Beastie Boys, and Taylor Swift
    • If B&O makes big improvements to its app and devotes more effort to explaining how to use their stuff versus wowing potential customers with overproduced webpage marketing videos, eventually you will be able to realize the P2's full potential.
    • Compared to other B&O portable speakers, it’s the lightest of them all
    • , B&O is expensive, but you are getting an excellent speaker that will probably last a decade or more.

    • , B&O never fail to impress me with their signature sound.**Update**Had to take 2 star off because after about a week getting it I feel like the battery life is worse than I thought.
    • B&O has always had a reputation for making HiFi gear that was both stylish and good sounding- the perfect stereo to compliment your MCM or Danish Modern furnshings
    • This B&O is also MUCH more superior than my KEF MUO Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Racing Blue which is roughly twice the price of the
    • This little speaker delivers big rich sound with characteristic B&O clarity way out of proportion to its diminutive size
