    Banjo-Tooie

    • The ghastly Canary Mary has two full races to herself (the latter of which is the source of many nightmares and bitter tears for fans); meanwhile Captain Blubber, a great character, only appears in a smidgeon of the game
    • If you thought the original was entertaining, engrossing, and challenging, with majestic characters and expansive worlds to explore, just multiply that by 20 and you can get an idea of what this sequel is like.(Some individal worlds in Tooie are the equivalent of the entire first game).
    • Rare could have rested on their laurels and thrown out a lazy effort, but they have done something i didn't think was possible by vastly improving on the original, and introducing enough new ideas, characters, and attacks to satisfy fans and most likely convert some new ones
    • Gorgeous worlds, funny characters, brilliant graphics, laughable sound and environments, and dazzling gameplay make this a wonder for the system
    • In the beggining of Banjo Tooie, players are treated to a nice cinema in which Grunty comes back only to kill one of our favorite (more or less) characters whose brother replaces him to help Banjo and Kazooie
    • It's lack of blood, guts and gore is very refreshing and the characters are terrific
    • Banjo-Kazooie, just Banjo, just Kazooie/the dragon, Mumbo, and the magic characters, but it turns out idiotic.
    • It is leagues ahead of Banjo-Kazooie in many areas, including character control, gameplay variety, and overall level of fun.
    • Gorgeous worlds, funny characters, brilliant graphics, laughable sound and environments, and dazzling gameplay make this a wonder for the system
    • I know a lot of people had this complaint with DK64... too much character swithcing, too repetitive
    • The characters will crack you up with every sarcastic dialogue or insult
    • It is more like a fully-fledged adventure game as there are so many genuinely funny and charming characters to talk to and interact with
    • There are some fun new characters introduced (such as the disgusting hamburger vendor Big Al), as well as old faces reappearing (Captain Blubber and Boggy the polar bear)
    • Also the handling (which is a great improvement from the first game for the base characters) is horrendous for the magic characters - all of whom are mechanical characters; there are none of the animals that you were changed into in B-K.One final note: most of the reviewers on this site talk about the fun characters that you encounter.
    • I was gifted a Nintendo 64 by my wonderful fiancée this past Father's Day
