Powered off the radio and let it sit... came back two days later and it fried my radio and burned out the battery

I tried to use this 12v adapter to my portable baofeng radios while off-roading

well radios are great for size and price

If 6 alkalines are used, the radio will intentionally not work due to the higher total voltage being outside the operating range

I messed around one day recently, and the radio and the smaller 1800 mah battery that it comes with fell, and cracked the battery in such a way that it would not properly snap back onto the radio.

Both radio's worked well with dummy & 5-CZ

If you use rechargeables, you would use 6 batteries, but if you are using Alkaline disposable batteries, you will overpower the radio with 6, you use 5 and the spacer.

Works well (charges and powers radio), seems durable.

It fits correctly, it fits in the charger, has plenty of power, and it makes the radio look like a real HT

got it for the missus' radio - top plastic part broke off

the radios work as well as any of the high priced ht's

Great radios and accessories especially for the money.

You get what you pay for, but from the actual company that makes pretty good radios, I'd expect at least a little better quality.

Have yet to test with the watt meter, but it runs the 8w BaoFeng radio well without problems.
