I've supplemented this with a DC to DC 12 V, 2 Amp smart charger that is now available that I can run off a jump start battery when needed

Update: 7-20-14.The first solar charger is still working great at Lake Ozark in central Missouri

Sometimes seems to work ok sometimes, but it's really hit or miss as to whether the battery is actually charged when the light on the charger says it's charged.

Has worked as I had hoped so far, I will update my review if I have any issues
