I did not want to do that!In use, the scanner actually quite nice for use while driving; you don't really have time or need to know the precise agency and type of channel

The problem is the screen does not display any frequency/system/talkgroup info that a typical scanner user would be used to, and the local database does not restrict agencies by talkgroup
