If you don't care about an app then buy it because this is an awesome speaker and we have enjoyed it everywhere we go.

Also you can connect two speakers through the app, and stereo really works perfect

Ok so this speaker is good lets hit it out rn but if your a bass head you will not be as impressed it keeps the bass enough but not as plenty as the jbl but mid range is marvelous with the material exquisite

My son wanted a nice blue tooth portable speaker and figured that if it was as nice as his beats headset that he really wanted it for Christmas

Not as good as my JBL speaker although this one is more compact.

However if these do not bother you then it is an amazing speaker and much more durable than the first beats pill

I guess this speaker is ok for a group of 8-11yr olds who are practicing for the school talent show in an empty parking lot, however... aside from the durability of the physical product, this speaker is NOT worth more than $40 (because I've bought an off brand speaker FOR $40 and although it currently is broken and will randomly shut off AND is no longer particularly "wireless" since it no longer works when it's unplugged😧
