Clear sound

It does it's job of playing more than one set of cans in the studio, however, for critical monitoring and mixing, it's not going to give you the clean sound you need for that purpose

I know what sounds good and this little box sounds great and for the price is the best choice

When my headphones are plugged directly into the mixer, the sound is fine but when I routed through this amp, the signal is low and turning up the volume created distortion

The sound is exquisite.

And I fiddled with the gain and volume controls for quite a bit, the only way to get it loud enough to even hear would also distort the sound a LOT

Compared to the output of various receivers and the headphone output of the sound cards I'm using that don't have a built-in headphone amp the sound is really good

clear sound!

The sound has been adequate for my needs.
