The "on" position therefore has a bad baseline sound to deal with

I think the only excuse to have a cheaper pedal is the material but at least the sound should be good.

It's great if you can afford three hundred dollar pedals, it's nice that I can afford a good sounding set up for about one fifty

If you love clean sounds but want that long sustain for those blues or metal ballad type sounds, this works great for that

you get what you pay for - that being said, it's not bad sounding - just the plastic housing makes me think it will break if I drop it.
