We have no noise problems at all with these mixers and they really solved a problem for me, I needed tiny flexible mixers I could preset and fit inside the rack out of the way

While this is a nice little mono mixer, the 12v power adapter that comes with it is European.

Good mixers also start around $70-80 anyhow, so it might make sense to just go for the mixer since there's a very high chance you'll want to upgrade to it soon (I am currently in that position).

There might be some portable mixer this size that actually works as intended, but this hunk of junk certainly does not.

The only improvement I would make is possible having the I/O panel top mounted to allow full access to this unit from one direction (such as for rack mounting it).

In addition to the ever-present problem of overwhelming feedback, I've experienced L/R channel dropout by simply touching a knob.
