Once I switched it out the amp sounds really good!

Connecting an analog record player (with a moving magnet cartridge) to a computer cannot be done without a proper pre-amp

One small caveat regarding this pre-amp: I must mention that it is strictly for moving-magnet cartridges, NOT moving-coil ones

Hat being said, I can't fault this pre-amp

I bought this to replace a similar phono pre-amp, model number SP-2 by an unknown manufacturer (which added a noticeable hum to the signal in spite of all my efforts at grounding and removing ground loop, etc).The Behringer unit works fine and adds no noise at all as far as I can tell

If all you have is a modern receiver/amp that has no phono input, then this will do the trick

I just got my Technics SL-3300 repaired and the technician said I should be able to get a good pre-amp for about $25 so I chose this one over the more expensive one - also because it was smaller.

I have to say this is a very good pre-amp for the money

Getting back into the vinyl world, I needed a preamp to mate my turntable to a modern amp that only has a "CD" input

I needed a converter for my record player to be able to play music through my Pioneer amp, and this was a perfect pre-amp

It was the best pre-amp at an affordable price

It does its job well probably not as good as other but its a good starter pre-amp.

the sound distorts depending what your actually using this for might make a diffence next time I'll spend a little more money but over all the product works as it suggest
