• Reviews around bass (3.17 of 5)

    BEHRINGER MS16

    • These do have a pretty powerful bass sound, but they seem to handle the bass drum without difficulty (sometimes I do have to adjust the bass knob a bit)
    • Great bass and overall clarity - about 1,000% better than the stock speakers I was using.
    • The sound is slightly colored and playback with these monitors isn't going to create that distinct and individual placement of each instrument within the stereo field, but for $70-80 bucks these things are rocking and have well rounded bass and mids.
    • The bass is clearly lacking, but what do you expect
    • The deep bass is lacking of course, which is expected for a 4" DIA woofer, but it wasn't MIA and actually sounded better than most free-standing speakers w/4" or 5" woofers.
    • and the bass is terrific if you don't play heavy metal which if you do then these are not the speakers for you
    • If you want crystal clear reproduction at a low price these will beat the pants off any logitech loud bass ,non clear speakers anyday.sure there MAYBE better systems for 10 times the price ......but thats another story.
    • Adjustable sound (treble-bass), very good sounding.
    • I use these for my computer to listen to cds and other stuff my son likes them for his guitar great set of speakers real clear and awesome bass
    • They can produce enough bass for pleasant listening, although I'm using them in a small room
    • i wouldn't recommend them as a home studio monitor but as a portable monitor, they're good value if you tackle the problem of excessive bass resonance.
    • Yes, they cost more, but the sound is ADJUSTABLE as to treble-bass, so speech is clear and music is full.
