I noticed a burnt wire smell and when i tried to tune my instrument i noticed that the led lights were not responding and that the smell was coming from the tuner

I'd recommend getting the Behringer 9V power supply for it and covering up its bright power light (seriously, it's bright!

Also, some reviews I saw before purchasing the product mentioned an overwhelmingly bright blue light to indicate that the device was active; however, the pedal I received has a significantly more subtle orange LED light, which is perfect (though I'm not sure if that's only because I have a battery in it, but I imagine it's the same light even if 9V DC is plugged in)

It tunes pretty accurately, and the LEDs are nice and bright, especially the blue "in tune" light.
