    BEHRINGER U-Control Uca202 Ultra Low-Latency 2 In/2 Out Usb/Audio Interface With Digital Output

    • Unplug it, and just as simply the sound reverts back to the computer's headphone out
    • Sounds a whole heck of a lot better than the noisy headphone outs from my desktop, too.
    • Weak headphone out
    • Honestly, I thought this setup was perfectly fine, as the headphones are just fantastic
    • UPDATE #2 - The 202 doesn't always sound good with cheap low-impedance headphone.
    • As advertised, I hooked this up to my Win7 laptop, the one with the broken headphone jack, and ended up with a working external audio DAC for the laptop.
    • With the hacked headphone amp it also drives all headphones I own nicely, so I can leave off the amp when listening at night
    • The headphone out can be hacked to drive a lot more cans correctly (google newavguy behringer frankendac) this involves SMD soldering (two possible mods, one is fairly easy by shorting two SMD resistors if the UCA has the correct opamp in the headphone stage, the other more difficult as the opamp and some resistors and caps are replaced) and is for the "have fun while voiding your warranty" faction
    • I plug in the 1/8" headphone out to a L/R split into a couple of monitors and it works
    • It's been used it as a USB headphone amp which works well with Sennheiser HD 555s, as a audio interface from desktop or laptop to a receiver, and an audio interface between laptop and desktop speakers
    • I am not a super audiophile, but to my ear, the quality of the recordings from well preserved vinyl is as good as, or even superior to the sound from commercially available digital music sources.
    • I would not recommend this item to anybody as it sounds OK and you get what you payed for
    • I won't downgrade this unit for that feature missing as it's your decision as which one to purchase but had I been aware that there is a unit available with that feature, I would have purchased that one as it is not that much more.
    • It's great for surround and music but not good as good as with the B&O's
    • I've used this a few times and it works A+ to Behringer.
    • It worked as I expected it to work
    • At $30, I was a bit skeptical as to how much of a difference it would make
    • I purchased this device to act as my digital to analog converter for my headphone amp as well as to avoid my onboard sound due to my graphics card emitting a very apparent and annoying whining noise every time it was utilized
    • The P & W noise causes a type of interference to the actual sound that you're trying to listen to, and it drowns out mid range audio, like our voices
    • Fl Studio 9 it showed up as one of the I/O options under the title BEHRINGER USB AUDIO and now my microphone sounds perfecly clear, and so do my mixes
    • I'm sure I could have spent more & gotten a better converter with better frequency response, but with my tired old ears (mostly destroyed by 25 yrs in the printing business & 40+ yrs of loud rock n roll) I just need something to get MP3 quality recordings out my old tapes & vinyl
