When you do set it up properly, the quality is fantastic.

I recommend some high-quality, magnetically insulated, gold-plated RCA cables to run your mixer output into the USB unit

And I get to bypass the cruddy soundcard in my old Dell (which has the sound quality and signal-to-noise of a six-transistor radio).

Great sound quality, super useful

The quality of the recording was much better than using the computers sound card

so I bought the Behringer UCA202 to bypass the laptop soundcard and the resultant sound quality is much better

The laptop only had a mono mic in and headphone out so the Behringer is a great low cost yet good quality option to give you access to external sound card functions.

The quality of the playback is pretty much perfect without any of the cracks or pops I used to hear.

As a mobile dj, I use this interface to enhance the audio quality of my laptop.

I am not a super audiophile, but to my ear, the quality of the recordings from well preserved vinyl is as good as, or even superior to the sound from commercially available digital music sources.

I would not recommend this item to anybody as it sounds OK and you get what you payed for
