Having actual RCA plugs (A very unusual thing these days) makes hookup easy.

Sound interfaces range from 50$ and higher but this product does the exact same thing a sound interface does which is get the sound into the computer without the distorted phasing sound of a line in plug ...recommend it if youre on a budget if you can spend more go ahead but this product works as described

This little gadget its do the work as advertised, the only negative thing I got about it is its awful external signal rejection, putting it simple; if you are using an old PC or at least one with ground / bad hd problems you probably are going to receive a great deal of noise mixed with your recordings; Never the less, its a great deal.

I gifted this to a fellow podcaster & he's had nothing but great things to say about it and from my own experience this is the best way to go all around!

For a home studio I might consider something higher-end, but for non-professional use these are exactly the right thing, and inexpensive enough that I can afford to have one for each stereo system in the house

I'm sure I could have spent more & gotten a better converter with better frequency response, but with my tired old ears (mostly destroyed by 25 yrs in the printing business & 40+ yrs of loud rock n roll) I just need something to get MP3 quality recordings out my old tapes & vinyl
