I wanted- the bas just produced a dull thudding sound
-
This little thing will clean up your bass sound
-
I also admit that cheap instruments sound cheap, and my Memphis is no exception.2- For expert ears, tonal coloring is no substitute of a good instrument
-
It is NOT a substitute for a classic tube amp, but with low expectations I was really impressed with the positive sound it gave me
-
Nice clear sound, good tones and wide range to work with.
-
Also, despite claims that you can put a 6-string guitar though this, i tried but could not dial up a very good sound
-
Good tone unit that will make a cheap bass sound like a quality one
-
This is even better, good thing I really adore the sound now because the "stock" mode is currently glitching
-
First it makes your cheap instrument sound like is 5 times (in my case 10) more expensive
-
The BDI21 gives me a nice warm adjustable tube sound for very little cash output.
-
Make your cheap bass sound decent
-
I like the DI part as well just one little box to plug in direct on stage for a great Bass sound.
-
The tube emulator is super beefy; it will give your bass a sound similar to a Marshall guitar head and really boosts the overall tone when you're playing with a full band
-
I can definitely get a better sound with this than without it when recording, but it's not the magic
-
This item is well worth the money and the sound is awsome, which is what you want.
-
i also got a pair of studio headphones from behringer that were only $25, they are ruggedly made and rival the sound of the $150 pair of sennheisers i use
-
It seems to give good true sound in bypass mode
-
I gave it 2 stars since it does provide some nice warm sound.
-
The EQ provided great tone and the presence\blend sounded incredible
-
I have not yet explored all of the options available, but definitely some great combinations of classic amp sounds
-
This sounds so great through the keyboard amp and many house mixes
-
My friend has a SansAmp DI (apparently the more expensive version of this pedal) and we both agree that the Behringer almost produces a better sound.
-
Behringer's build quality can be dubious sometimes, but overall their stuff produces sounds that should satisfy anyone who isn't a picky audiophile.
-
but I can overlook them for its awesome sound and versatility.
-
Makes a passive bass sound crisp and fuller
-
This is a great sounding, value for money pedal
-
After playing a gig with my crummy bass amp mic'ed with a cheap "all-purpose" dynamic by an unprepared sound guy, I needed a solution
-
Excellent sound for the priceI needed a direct box / amp modelling pedal to play straight into mixing board / PA and was looking
-
Between running this into my interface then using compression, Cab IRs and reverb, I can get a great sound on recordings
-
This is an incredibly inexpensive active DI with a nice sounding pre-amp, and it's as cheap as anything.
-
At the price I highly recommend trying one out, and not just for a recording application but for live sound as well.
-
It does the job; makes the sound warmer and more amp-like
-
great sounds from this box
-
great sound.
-
The BDI21 is just the thing to warm up my sound.
