As an FYI for anyone reading, I had a major power surge this past summer when the neutral line on my house power supply broke, and the only thing that protected anything was hardwired GFI electrical outlets, so for less than $20.00 for all parts from any DYI store, I'd also recommend those be installed for any expensive equipment you truly want to protect.

and I finally have enough outlets without having to resort to running things under a runner or using outlet extender (yuk!)

This thing has lots of plugs which helps me out since I only have two usable outlets in my bedroom

I like that you can cover the outlets you don't use, the low profile plug prong thingy, and I guess the higher joules thingy is good

Only outlet available on lower level of house, where treadmill is, was a GFI outlet and the treadmill kept trippingthe circuit.
