Also, I don't know how well it handles surges, I haven't had any yet.

As it turns out, my home did suffer several huge power surges after protecting my components with this strip.

Great surge protector for home office.

This extreme case is due only to abnormal issues with the power to my home - it appears that two hot 110v lines were occasionally connecting and surging to ~220 - and I'm confident that under normal circumstances the 4000 joule protection would have handled reasonable surges and lived on.

Haven't had any surges, so I don't know how well it works, but so far so good!
