    • But it did not have the tilting feature, so it was not possible to use all six outlets when connecting multiple devices with fat transformers
    • I no longer lose outlets because of funky transformers blocking them!
    • Love the swivel outlets that make it easy to accommodate bulky transformers
    • This one is close, however for the weird angle wall transformers (Netgear and others) or the bigger than necessary wall transformers you will have to skip outlets
    • The pivoting side-outlets allow basically any arrangement of bulky transformer plugs, and the compact design allows this to fit *inside* my entertainment unit
    • You buy an additional home office appliance, the plug is straight (easy), or sideways or has a bulky transformer of any shape and when you plug to one socket, some cover 2 or more outlets
    • So I've never had a power surge, so I can't discuss that aspect of it - and whether it can protect properly during a surge, but I can confirm that this has an awesome number of outlets, and the pivot design helps big time with fitting awkward adapters or direct devices (that is, stuff like febreze airfreshers that plug directly into a socket and take up a large amount of space; or those bulky transformer adapters that enjoy taking up 2 or 3 slots... or those weird sideways plugs that are well suited for the classic vertical two slot plugs... but terrible for horizontal power strips - see this picture as an example:

    • The 8 foot cord is a great as it is long enough to get from the outlet to behind the entertainment center to plug in the TV, cable, surround sound system, video game console, etc.
