The different horizontal and vertical outlets are VERY convenient, especially if you're like me and have different sized plugs

Bought this surge protector because our other one didn’t have enough outlets

There is a piece of plastic sticking out on the back that makes it so it can only go in the top outlet

However, it's angled plug is not suitable for newer outlets very well because outlets are now installed upside down, with the ground at the top, to comply with codes and/or regulations, and the cord comes out the top and must be supported somehow.

For example, if you have it plugged in the top outlet (on the wall) and try to plug in a phone charger that is slightly thick and would fit (on the bottom plug on the wall), I might end up nudging part of the cord close to the plug which causes this surge

so you have no problem utilizing all 12 outlets at the same time

This is a very versatile outlet.

Bring this and none of you will have to worry about having enough outlets.

I like this outlet strip the best because all the plugs face a different way and are spaced out, so I don't have any adapters taking up the space of two plugs

It has enough outlets plus more in case I need to add more electronics in the future

(I have a half hot outlet - the lower outlet turns on and off using a wall switch - so this power strip is not good at all if you need to use your lower outlet for anything else

With the spacing on this product, all the outlets are usable
