However, if you're super-dependent on using aux cables and lost the little dongle Apple provides, it's the best car accessory you can grab right now.

The box indicates compatibility with iPhones from the 7 thru X, but it will also work with the 5, 5s, 6, 6s and others with the lightning port
The box doesn’t mention it, but this works with the iPhone 5S.

The cable worked as expected and the sound quality was very good
The sound quality is pretty good, I've been using this for a few weeks, and it works fine and has held up well (it even got slammed in the car door once).

The posted offer of this product in Vine did not indicate it was for iPhone 7 and later, so unfortunately I am not able to enjoy this product.
Belkin makes great products and this cable seems to be well constructed and sturdy.

It could be a little thicker or a tougher cord, but its quality Belkin
I'm still salty about removal of the 3.5mm port but absent that changing, this cord works well for playing music in my car

This particular cable is 3 feet, but Belkin also makes a 6 foot one as well
The one star off is because it still uses the same Belkin strain relief design that has eventually broken on all my other Belkin cables (ALL of them)

It is just the right length for the aux plug in on my car for my phone to sit in the little slot.

With this cable you can enjoy your streaming music from your iDevice when you can’t or don’t want to use Bluetooth
This is the only way I can enjoy my podcasts and music from my phone as the truck is too old for Bluetooth
This made it difficult to enjoy music or audiobooks in the car
It doesn't charge the phone like a lightning to USB connection but it does provide crystal clear music and speakerphone playback.

Whether or not you agree with Apple's decision to get rid of the headphone jack, this cable neatly solves that problem.
Anyway, if you need to get an audio line out from your iPhone 7 and newer, this is a good cable with MFi certification to consider.

After the second day it didnt even play music just the static noise
i had it then the next day it wouldn’t go more than 20 seconds without making a horrible static noise and just overallnot working
I can finally consistently listed to music without getting annoying errors and background noise.
