Belkin 6-Outlet Commercial Power Strip Surge Protector with 6-Foot Power Cord and Rotating Plug, 1080 Joules (BE106000-06R)

    • When the slip ring in the rotating plug makes poor contact the plug gets hot and it will melt and/or char
    • The big problem with this power stripe is that the plug holes have almost zero "grip", that is, any minor movement will cause your plugs to shimmy out of place and loose contact or fall out completely
    • I found that the prongs on the wall plug became overheated from poor contact with the ring below
    • I guess it did its job by melting and losing contact instead of catching on fire.
    • CHEAP-O but a solid well made value.
    • Bought this in late April of 2017 (plugged in behind couch, never messed with, or spilled on, or anything like that at all), and it's dead as of the beginning of January 2018
    • There are other power strips available on Amazon for 3x the price but save yourself your hard earned $ and get this basic version that will work exactly as you need it to!

    • Works as
    • Works as it should but doesn’t allow enough room for power bricks to plug in.
