Belkin WaveRest Gel Wrist Pad for Keyboards, Black (F8E263-BLK)

    • Has an annoying plastic crinkle noise when resting on it.
    • Also there a strange plastic crunching noise that comes from applying pressure on the pad as if it was internally enclosed by a plastic bag
    • Seems like there's cheap plastic on the inside
    • and it has like an air bubble on the bottom and won't sit flat on my desk and it makes a crunching noise every time i put my wrists on it due to the loose plastic around the gel i assume
    • The rubbery plastic smell lingered for about a week but purpose

    • the item is stink, very strong plastic smell, even its over few months, and I washed for a few times, the smell doesnt go away.

    • I bought this to replace a hard plastic support that fit a specific keyboard
    • Sounds like there is plastic between the gel and the inside of the wrist rest
    • Seems like there's cheap plastic on the inside
    • This product does not have foam in it, there is a noisy plastic stuffed inside
    • The box was the hard plastic which slices your fingers off, but they added a perforated backing so no scissors were required
    • It smells of a strong plastic/chemical odor - it actually gave me a headache within just a few minutes of having it in front of me.
    • I wanted a bit of cushioning on the arm rests instead of the hard plastic
    • It smelled terrible for weeks... like toxic VOC plastic petroleum death
    • Its very soft but sturdy, so you wrist doesn't sink into it, it rests on it, but its not hard plastic.

    • The pad itself is not wide enough, and the "gel" is not very soft as there is just not enough for any real comfort because it is also rock-hard, and you can hear some cheap plastic inside when you move it around.
    • Works as it should no problems.
    • Works as you would imagine
    • But if you flip it backwards, it works as it should
    • The bottom is also nice because it grabs the desk well enough to not move around, but not sticky as to get stuck and not be able to move it around
    • I t makes using the keyboard a little more comfortable, because I have carpal tunnel
    • The construction is odd in that there is some sort of crinkly material in the base and a pocket of air trapped in between that the rubber base that cause the Wrist Pad to be of all thing, "noisy" as I type.3
