it is amazing how many cops leave the radar on constant which really helps.anyway mine has worked great and gives ample warning ... if I you wanted laser protection try this with Bel's Jammer and put all three up front .... just a thought no claims made that it would work.

Hey, a good radar detector simply levels the playing field.

Pulsed radar is way more complex and is used to detect range, police radar does NOT care about range, just Doppler shift which is directly related to your speed!POP mode radar is a lot like instant on, but it is automatic in that it triggers the radar on and then off very quickly, so fast that a lot of radar detectors will miss it, as radar detectors are scanning a number of frequencies and may not be looking at that particular frequency in the instant it is there

Be aware that although its advertised that this detector has VG2 immunity, it does NOT have VG2 immunity and it does leak radar bands...terribly, so the RX65 can be detected by VG2 sniffers/RDD's

I love this radar, it does not go off with door sensors or around other radars like cheap ones, and will pick up a police radar from over a mile away

Ka-Band is NOT used for automatic door openers, but you will get false signals from things like direct tv dishes and other cheaper radar detectors LO leakage

Volume could be louder, no rear-facing radar antenna or arrows, mode does not automatically switch to multi-threat display upon multiple radar encounters, not immune to all RDDsOverall, this is an excellent radar detector
