Beltronics RX65-Red Professional Series Radar Detector

    • The detection range on this unit is crazy and the build is solid and nice looking
    • The range of detection is excellent.
    • I love everything about the BEL RX65, especially the voice alert and options, not to mention the range is the best you can get
    • I have found that it gives me greater range than my previous detector and it paid for itself on my first road trip
    • I've had a Beltronics V955 and Escort Passport S55 and for the price this unit comes with great features and excellent range
    • Good Range - Finds cops frequently, especially in the Chicago suburbs where they are always trolling for tickets.
    • Best range of any detector I have owned
    • Great range, won't be disappointed
    • The range of detection in the rear is a little more limited than the front and bright sunlight and sometimes set off a false laser alert, but it happens very rarely.
    • Excellent range few false alerts easy programming
    • Otherwise, range is terrific, the programming is kind of difficult (for an old codger), but I'm very satisfied.
    • Laser and all current bands of radar are all received, usually with more than enough range to allow the driver to check with his/her compliance with posted speed limits to avoid unintentional traffic speed infractions
    • A lot of false alarms but very very good range!
    • Its range is not as good at it says to be.
    • It has excellent range, sensitivity and selectivity
    • But, with this no way, the range is awesome and if there gun is on, you will pick them up WAY before they see you
    • Very few falses and good range.
    • While the manufacturer tries to detect the police VG2's own local oscillator leakage at range greater than the police can detect yours and then shut down the local oscillator the police are not standing still either
    • It gives lots of false warnings and not enough warning mile range.
    • A lot of false alarms but very very good range!
    • Excellent range on open highway.
    • Super easy to use and has a good range
    • Before this unit I had a Beltronics Vector 995, that unit had great range to pick up all bands as well and stays quiet
    • This unit has incredible range and often alerts you of threats so far down the road that you have plenty of time reduce speed
    • I'm very pleased its a great radar, with good range and good features
    • Great range, won't be disappointed
    • I have experienced excellent range for speed traps especially the officers who just leave the radar on full time.
    • Very reliable excellent range
    • Very reliable and picks up most, if not all, of the radars (and also laser!!) in my areaCons:- The range is not as far as my last Beltronics
    • There's an extent to which the range may be a little too good; I think it would sometimes find radar on nearby streets that I didn't really need to know about
    • The detector also gets fair range on the tricky 35.5 frequencies.
    • Great range, functionality/features
    • Seldom do I get false alarms and it seems to have very good range.
    • Excellent detector, very long range, just used on a 2200 mile trip and it alarmed in many cases, 2 miles in advance of highway patrol, and even alarmed with several hundred yards warning in cases where the CHP / OHP was well around a corner with a mountain in the way, or hiding on the far side of an overpass berm
    • The sum of the rule is the higher you pay for a good quality brand such as Beltronics, Escort ( both Escort and Beltronics are the same manufacturer [...])or even Valentine 1 , the more you pay for them the better detection, range , features and the quieter they are to false alerts.
    • It's range is questionable, especially at certain speeds
    • Great range.
    • They provide the best range, sensitivity, with minimal falseing than other detectors in this price range
    • Bought one, and the range, the build quality, and features are perfect.
    • This radar has very good range, having used a $120 cobra as a testing device I knew it was time to upgrade
    • Sensitive/Good range.- Best bang for your buckCons:- No learning
    • and it has a better range.
    • The range is great
    • Good range from all angles.
    • Great long range detection and nice
    • The range on this detector is pretty impressive
    • It's a good basic radar detector - excellent range and function
    • Pros: Solid build quality, useful features, easy programming, good range, good false alert filtering, voice alerts, Ku band (for European drivers)Cons
    • Decent range, was pretty good, poor craftsmanship to have it die 2 months later
    • The range is great in Texas on those long highways.
    • Excellent range, detects POP, easy to program, automute, tech displayCons: Filtering is fair, could be better - expect a few false K alerts; the coiled cord is a nuisance, I'd rather have a straight cord; the mounting bracket is somewhat
    • did not work as well as it described on the website
    • This Beltroncs worked exactly as I wanted considering all the new technologies out there
