BenQ 24-Inch Gaming Monitor - LED 1080p HD Monitor - 1ms Response Time for Ultra Fast Console Gaming (RL2455HM) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • Well, input lag, as defined by Wikipedia is "either the delay between the television or monitor receiving a signal and it being displayed on the screen" and that my friends is the huge difference in a first-person-shooter multiplayer session between delivering the first shot to your enemy or getting your ass whooped before you could even tell wtf has just happenned
    • If i EVEN let the monitor HIBERNATE, it will lose its signal and yet another 20 minutes of re-plugging in the video cable etc
    • The only thing that's kind of annoying, is if you have the monitor on mute when you shut it off or lose signal, the volume is automatically turns back on and you have to work your way thru a small menu to get it muted again.
    • In general, the menu itself is very easy to navigate--the only positive I see here
    • It was nearly impossible to play defense on the Vizio because of lag, as well as getting players shot timing release correct being nearly impossible online
    • My only issue with the monitor is that sound goes through HDMI even after switching to optical audio out on my system, causing sound to come through the speakers on my monitor as well as through my gaming headset, and You can't turn the sound off in the monitor settings
    • I got this monitor and the response time makes all the difference in this fast paced of a game, as well as in all the gunbattles I am getting in
    • For me it's mainly about the input lag as I have been playing Call of Duty
    • I purchased the BenQ RL2455HM 24 inch Console Gaming Monitor, I use it for my computer, I did hook it up to my Xbox and I even hooked my home theater system up to the headphones output jack on this monitor, volume didn't get as loud as through the TV, but it was loud enough for me to enjoy a game with the best speakers in my house
    • I figured I had the input lag as low as it could go
