The speakers are what you would exspect to be in a monitor not the best but not the worst

-In-One where the speakers were great.

The volume is a bit weak, but picking up some speakers would cover the one weakness that I find in this monitor.

The included speakers are a really nice addition for a monitor that connects via HDMI, making for a really streamlined setup (though of course the speakers cannot perform as well as dedicated mini-tower PC speakers)

For those of you who thought to make use of the headphone jack in the back: The monitor appears to have its own equalizer to make its speakers not sound awful (they don't sound awful, they're just weak)

The image is good and the 2ms response time is great for gaming but the speakers are awful

The speakers are very quiet at max volume so keep that in mind if you dont have external speakers or headphones.

The first negative is the speakers, which was actually one of my positives as well.

The speakers are laughable, but I was not expecting anything from them as I use a headset for all my sound.

Only downfall is the standard speakers but you can buy a simple nice pair of desktop speakers for $10.

The only reason I even considered lowering the rating to four stars is because the speakers on these monitors are so weak as to be nearly useless.

No dead pixels, great quality, basic speakers a plus

For awhile the monitor speakers kept trying to assert themselves as the primary audio device despite me never using them deliberately ever, so while I was listening on headphones audio would start blaring through the terrible monitor speakers and filling my house

Picture isn't quite as sharp as I would like, and I had some trouble getting it working with my laptop via HDMI and VGA

Unlike my viewsonic which has its controls under the monitor and on the stand, something I truly hate as it is difficult to just turn the monitor off and on as you cannot see the controls, the BenQ has it's controls down the right hand bezel of the monitor making them easy to use

It also shows vibrant colors that amaze and mystify me in games such as the Witcher 3

It does have 3.5mm AUX input to plug in your own speakers as well as on-board volume/

I wouldn't however recommend it as an external if the laptop's resolution is higher than 1080p as it may make the eyes feel weird moving from monitor to monitor

I compared identical videos with identical settings on my laptop and the results on this monitor were noticeably worse, though my laptop has a smaller screen and higher resolution anyways, so that isn't a fair comparison, but still I would think that a good 27" monitor wouldn't have chunks of pixels and blur as you watch high quality videos

Good price but not as sharp as the Samsung and color not as good

The bezels are pretty thick and not ideal for more than one monitor setups.-Verdict-Pretty good value for what you get: A very clear 4K picture, great color and pretty good contrast once the settings have been adjusted, and hit or miss HDR depending on the game

I like the size and the 4K, but everything seems washed out on it
