• Reviews around speaker (1.94 of 5)

BenQ GL2706PQ Black 27” 1ms (GTG) 60Hz 1440p Gaming Monitor 350 cd/m2, 20M:1 DCR, HDMI, Display Port, Speakers, Height Adjustable, VESA Mountable

    • The speakers are a little weak and can be too quiet of you have a reasonably noisy space
    • The speakers are a little weak.
    • For those of you who thought to make use of the headphone jack in the back: The monitor appears to have its own equalizer to make its speakers not sound awful (they don't sound awful, they're just weak)
    • Only downfall is the standard speakers but you can buy a simple nice pair of desktop speakers for $10.
    • It also has an audio jack which I have decent quality speakers (with audio control) connected to at all times, since the sound quality through the monitor's speakers are pretty bad
    • The volume is a bit weak, but picking up some speakers would cover the one weakness that I find in this monitor.
    • The included speakers are a really nice addition for a monitor that connects via HDMI, making for a really streamlined setup (though of course the speakers cannot perform as well as dedicated mini-tower PC speakers)
    • There are a lot who say that the speakers aren’t good but in all honesty they are usable
    • Works great, no image distortion, speakers are
    • No speakers on 24.5" GL2580H model but can't complain with its price
    • Nice visualization, but terrible speakers.
    • The first negative is the speakers, which was actually one of my positives as well.
    • No dead pixels, great quality, basic speakers a plus
    • The speakers are a joke and don't go very loud
    • The only downside I have seen is the speakers
    • As others have mentioned, the speakers are absolute crap
    • Nice visualization, but terrible speakers.
    • If you just want a good quality panel and the speakers are not a big deal, this a great monitor.
    • The speakers are very quiet at max volume so keep that in mind if you dont have external speakers or headphones.
    • The speakers are laughable, but I was not expecting anything from them as I use a headset for all my sound.
    • Surprised but the speakers are not half bad either
    • These are great monitors, but the speakers are really quiet
    • The image is good and the 2ms response time is great for gaming but the speakers are awful
    • Once I disabled the monitor speakers as devices for the 2nd or 3rd time it finally stuck, though
    • The speakers are disappointing, but I figured as much.
    • -In-One where the speakers were great.
    • The speaker is almost useless
    • Bought 2 of these am very happy with them, one thing thou the speakers on them are ok not the best
    • Poor speakers
    • For awhile the monitor speakers kept trying to assert themselves as the primary audio device despite me never using them deliberately ever, so while I was listening on headphones audio would start blaring through the terrible monitor speakers and filling my house
    • The only reason I even considered lowering the rating to four stars is because the speakers on these monitors are so weak as to be nearly useless.
    • Love it, phenomenal picture quality but the speakers are terrible
    • It also has an audio jack which I have decent quality speakers (with audio control) connected to at all times, since the sound quality through the monitor's speakers are pretty bad
    • The only flaw with this monitor is the speakers
    • also the speakers suck more than my old monitor
    • The speakers are what you would exspect to be in a monitor not the best but not the worst
    • It's honestly pretty great and the only downside is the speakers
    • The speakers are simply terrible
    • looks beautiful and displays every thing in 1080 p
    • Unlike my viewsonic which has its controls under the monitor and on the stand, something I truly hate as it is difficult to just turn the monitor off and on as you cannot see the controls, the BenQ has it's controls down the right hand bezel of the monitor making them easy to use
    • I compared identical videos with identical settings on my laptop and the results on this monitor were noticeably worse, though my laptop has a smaller screen and higher resolution anyways, so that isn't a fair comparison, but still I would think that a good 27" monitor wouldn't have chunks of pixels and blur as you watch high quality videos
    • I wouldn't however recommend it as an external if the laptop's resolution is higher than 1080p as it may make the eyes feel weird moving from monitor to monitor
    • The B.I. sucks as it darkens The picture to The point u can't see nothing
    • It does have 3.5mm AUX input to plug in your own speakers as well as on-board volume/
    • Picture isn't quite as sharp as I would like, and I had some trouble getting it working with my laptop via HDMI and VGA
    • Good price but not as sharp as the Samsung and color not as good
    • It also shows vibrant colors that amaze and mystify me in games such as the Witcher 3
    • The bezels are pretty thick and not ideal for more than one monitor setups.-Verdict-Pretty good value for what you get: A very clear 4K picture, great color and pretty good contrast once the settings have been adjusted, and hit or miss HDR depending on the game
    • I like the size and the 4K, but everything seems washed out on it
