HDR makes the colors pop really strong vivid colors to bad this 2016 monitor don't have HDR.

but now i have bad color bleed on dark scenes, even when playing around with the settings I haven't been able to minimize the bleed

Also if you want good picture quality and colors and such that TNs don't really offer for movies, single player games, etc..., buy a budget 4k TV in addition to your cheaper TN competitive gaming

I notice that the monitor that don't have HDR the colors don't pop that strong with vivid colors, but its still looks good even without HDR

And about that IPS Asus, it's a beautiful monitor, but for higher end gaming, I don't recommend it, it's perfect for web browsing, movie watching, more "casual" gaming, etc.... since it's an IPS monitor, and they do indeed have great colors and such, but I felt the difference between 5 ms and 1 ms dramatically in Rocket League, and I played much worse with it (although 5 ms isn't that bad or noticeable in most games).The Samsung 4k UH750 monitor was also decent, I had the 28 inch version, but for some reason, despite it being a 1 ms response time monitor, it didn't feel as responsive for gaming as the BenQs or even the current 4k Asus did and do
