Sure, there's a little bit of fret buzz on the low F, F#, and G, but to be able to pick it up and jam spontaneously, these slight drawbacks are a non-issue -- at least for me, haha!I don't know if this instrument would be good for recording, (and when plugged in you'll have to be careful to avoid fret noise

As others have said, this might be a better instrument for someone with a bit of guitar knowledge, as it was not a great player out of the box and needed a bit of setup

Very little fret buzz (I've had more on more expensive instruments), so that's been resolved.

Mine is more of a teal color than the royal blue pictured, especially on the sides, but it's a great looking instrument

You will also notice that this is undeniably a cheap instrument as you continue to play it for more than a few minutes, the vibration causes the excess resin to come loose and the room will end up smelling like wood glue

Unless there has been a fix (doubtful), and it would be an easy one, there is no way you can fret this instrument and be on key.
