I really wanted the blue, but it has a great tone.
-
good plugged inTone is decent - not the same tone as a nice, more established guitar brand but not awful either
-
The tone is quite nice when played with the fingers, not so great when played with a pick; I tried a felt pick, but that didn't help much either.
-
I put on some short scale flatwounds which GREATY improved the tone from the garbage stock strings (whatever else you do, replace the strings right away!)
-
Another option which would probably improve the tone somewhat is to replace the plastic saddle with a bone saddle
-
Very good tone..great to practice without amp
-
Has a nice tone
-
Don't expect superb craftmanship and beautiful tone, but if you want a 'banger' acoustic bass for practice and campfire jam sessions then this is your bass.
-
Tone is crap.
-
it has a great sound, good tone , easy to play, the strings are not to hard or to loose, i loved it
-
and when you plug it in to your amp it makes good tones as
-
I could overlook those things if the tone was decent, but it's not.
-
It may not have the stellar playability or tone of a higher-end instrument, but it gets the job done if you're just looking for a "beater" to play around the campfire and the like
-
well, good tone!
-
The sound is a rich deep tone, and just sounds perfect
-
Not great tone, but it is an active bass and for the price, it's hard to complain at all
-
Color is beautiful(though finish is a bit cheap), tone is good for a beginner.

-
It has a decent tone, it holds the pitch, it's light, and the short scale
-
Low E buzzes a little but not so to distract from pros.
