No coconut smell or taste.

Refined coconut oil is: - not going to have the coconut taste and smell you might have been expecting if you are new to the product, it very neutral. - whereas it can definitely be used on the skin and hair, it is prepared in a way to allow it to be brought up to higher temperatures before burning and smoking, creating an unwanted taste and texture

but I would think its a great candidate for cooking because it lacks the distinctive coconut taste
