Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • Solid build; comfortable; detailed sound, but somewhat lean on bass compensated with EQ; great price.
  • They used to sell for $250 and even that price would be fair, I think
  • These are the best I have heard at a reasonable price (am not willing to break the bank as I am only using them for recreational purposes).

Reviews around comfort (5.00 of 5)

  • However, the comfort is not QUITE as good as I expected

Reviews around way (5.00 of 5)

  • The best way I can describe it is like steel wool brushing against metal or a raw marker on paper
  • Not accurate, and based on little parts of the song sounding way out of balance
  • I'll write about the bass, mids and treble, to what I hear in the best way I can describe

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • The Beyerdynamic DT770 pro feels warm, and im hearing things ive never heard before in both games and music.in case interested the headphones i have acquired through the years, many of these i love for one reason or the other, best when coupled with an amp or amp/dac and they will sound much better than direct to device/Computer
  • Since comfort was the first thing on my mind at the time I went with these, and I got the 32 ohm version for its shorter cable and easier drivability
  • The good thing is the treble is the one area I noticed improvement after a month

Reviews around balance (5.00 of 5)

  • Good base balanced with the mids and highs not too much but definitely enjoyable for a variety of music.
  • The DT 770 PRO 32 ohm has a nice balance, again leaning slightly towards bright

Reviews around mid (5.00 of 5)

  • I own the Dt 990 pro's as well, and comparing the two, it seems like the 990's are more clear mids and highs with muddied and violent bass/sub-bass
  • I am partial to the Senn 4.50 NON-noise canceling, as they are easy to drive, crystal clear, defined, excellent mids and lows, highs are not shrill but rounded, and the soundstage so well defined
  • the 770's have a much clearer sub-bass/bass signature with a slightly less clear mid range and high range

Reviews around use (5.00 of 5)

  • If you want to get a lower ohm version for portable use but also use it at home, get a short extension cable made
  • They sound fantastic when using with the IPod

Reviews around noise (5.00 of 5)

  • Very clear and very quiet outside noise.
  • If you put these on without any sound playing you’ll notice all noise outside the headphones will get quieter,

Reviews around bass (4.26 of 5)

  • I used to have a pair of Sennheiser headphones I used when mixing and they were a bit bass heavy and led my tracks to a bit too much bass at times when replaying on other speakers or headphones
  • the 770's have a much clearer sub-bass/bass signature with a slightly less clear mid range and high range
  • The bass is always clear without sounding boomy, the high are smooth and present.
  • These headphones to do not overemphasize the bass or treble and just give you an extremely accurate reproduction of the audio track you are listening to or working on
  • Amazing sub-bass and incredibly good soundstage for closed back headphones
  • Read remaining 8 reviews for bass

Reviews around soundstage (3.86 of 5)

  • I already mentioned that they are very cleared and detailed across the board, and the soundstage is fantastic
  • Very good soundstage, probably its best sound feature.4.5/5These are among the most recommended closed back over-ears in this price range and for good reason
  • The soundstage on the 990's are obviously better, but for a closed back, the 770's have a great soundstage
  • I am partial to the Senn 4.50 NON-noise canceling, as they are easy to drive, crystal clear, defined, excellent mids and lows, highs are not shrill but rounded, and the soundstage so well defined
  • Amazing sub-bass and incredibly good soundstage for closed back headphones

Reviews around quality (3.86 of 5)

  • My one complaint about them is the build quality of the clamp
  • Overall for the price point these are hard to beat and have an extremely nice build quality.
  • Theses headphones have really good quality, music sounds amazing when listening to it.
