Only one ear works and problems with the sound

and it's destroying my right ear

In the 1980s I worked as a mixer / fixer in some Philly sound studios; I always listen to new gear with critical ears, (though my high frequency hearing is down a little bit now that I'm 57)

I've retired my B&Os because they hurt my ears

I have a pair of B&Os I use for listening to music but after a few hours my ears are sore

One ear stopped working after less than a week of use

and it's destroying my right ear

I still use Sony MDR7506 headphones for recording and they smash my ears down limiting the time spent in them

Comfy as, but the sound quality isnt as good as anticipated, and they arent very loud at all
