It definitely gets powerful at its highest setting, enough to overpower my relatively small D1010MKii speakers

I bought this V-80 to complement a pair of Athena B1.2 (great little speakers) in a small home theatre setup.

It is probably the best speaker/subwoofer I've used for the price.
