My one complaint would be that sometimes it is a bit difficult to get the caps off and on

These bics color and write as smoothly as sharpies but the ink does tend to bloom a bit

They lay down color smoothly, are not a bit scratchy or blotchy, can get into tiny details easily, and can be purchased individually on Bic's webpage the last I knew.
