Excellent design, sturdy and reliable phone holder. Not perfect for iPhone 6 or similar, larger phones but is great for iPhone 5 or similar.

IMO, it may be suitable for road cyclists or highway motorcyclist, and maybe sedate cross country mountain biking, but for those who routinely take a trip over the bars, you are likely to mess up your phone.

But if i'm just cruising around town sometimes I don't even use the rubber band and my phone still stay secured in the holder

But a smaller phone would be perfect for it

Only issue is the 2 clamps are right where every modern phone I've seen has sleep/volume buttons, so you have to work to line things up correctly

I needed a phone holder that works with a Gocycle electric bike, which has a rather thick handlebar

It worked well, so I used the mount to hold my phone, like on the side of my TV tray, on my bed post/frame, at my computer desk, etc.

The only complaint would be that the spring loaded clamp that holds the phones is not that strong - you definitely need to use the rubber bands at the corners to secure the phone

Having said that, I cannot trust this mount with my more expensive new phone

My phone is very secure when riding on my bike with this product.

However, the iPhone 7s is relatively long which causes me to have to REALLY stretch the the elastic resting band to it limits... while currently only a concern I believe after some use the the band will loose its elasticity and fail leaving only the metal fingers to hold my expensive phone in place...!!

The swivel cannot be locked in place and the slightest bump will tip the phone over

I mount it horizontally to be able to take video while riding at slow speeds, but feel comfortable in saying that video at higher speeds could be taking also with the right phone case

I took this thing down the interstate for an hour and my phone was fine

I was more concerned about loosing my phone on the highways when I ordered this version.

I returned both items since it was very hard to put the iPhone 7 in the mount and the phone didn't seem stable in the holder.

The rubber corner straps will press and hold a volume up button if you pull it down very far from the top left....and the pinch clamp will press the Bixby button if you dont slide the phone up off-center, but works very well to hold phone in place.
