    • The lid stopped working
    • after, I opened up the lid and the mechanism inside had broken completely
    • My only minor quibble is the lid to the carafe is quite finicky
    • The lid feels very cheap and the handle that you push to pour bends as it's really thin

    • Actually, the lid itself is also very easy to clean and keep clean, soemthing that has been an issue with some other brands of coffee makers

    • Then, in four months, the lid broke and now we have to unscrew it to pour coffee, which defeats the purpose of a thermal carafe.
