The bad points: like most Chinese-built goods, the oven walls are very thin/flimsy and if it is plugged into an outlet to its rear with any coil of the wire touching the back of the unit, it could melt the insulation; one can be burned by touching any exterior surface of the oven while in use (2) the exterior is unforgiving about fingerprints (3) the drip pan for the air fryer is significantly smaller than the fry basket itself meaning food must be slightly heaped in the middle of the fry basket or byproducts will fall into the floor of the unit or onto the heating elements.

It is not the fryer mesh pan or the drip pan, it is the unit itself.

I think it might work better without the drip pan but that will be a major clean up

There isn't a drip pan, as someone else suggested

I tossed out the drip pan, it got ruined in the dishwasher

Also, when you pull out the drip pan it is so tight that the food doesn't come out with

The drip pan is not really big enough for the oven

And, the basket needs to slide under a down-hook-type tab that holds it in place, and it is impossible to remove/insert the basket together with the drip pan, because the basket needs to be tipped and angled to get it under that tab.

A bigger drip pan is definitely needed.

The reason I gave a lower score for clean ability is that the drip pan leaves a gap between the walls which allows some mess ya accumulate in the bottom

The drip pan is smaller than the mesh af pan, which doesn't make sense

The problem is that the drip pan is so very hard to clean and says cannot ise foil.

There is nothing in this toaster oven to keep a mess in check--just the too-small drip pan.

Do NOT remove the air fryer mesh cooking rack without the drip pan beneath it - you'll spill grease everywhere including the inside door glass.

I honestly like it just as well, if not more than my really expensive Breville that crapped out suddenly

seems to work just fine I like it
