-
great hardcover, great paper (bright, good thickness) and great spiral edge.
-
While the paper, binding, cover and quality all are as good as I would expect from the original notebook I bought, I was disappointed in two things.
-
I first purchased the Black n' Red hardcover casebook notebook and instantly fell in love with the thick, smooth, matte-finish paper
-
Red n' Black notebooks in general have excellent quality paper as well - a smooth pleasure to write on, especially with my favorite kind of pen (http://www.amazon.com/uni-ball-Jetstream-Bold-Point-Stick-33931PP/dp/B000JKR4CI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1462881772&sr=8-3&keywords=jetstream+uni+1.0)
-
The paper is not as great as I expected, I am a bit of a precisionist when it comes to what I write on, an occupational hazard, I might add.
-
Good quality paper" smooth and does not bleed thru w fountain pen,
-
And the paper is, well, just great
-
The paper is fine, but apparently Black n' Red changed some of this notebook’s other attractive and useful features but not its description and product number.
-
Paper is like a 67' Cadillac
-
Smooth and clean and soft to the touch unlike a lot of harsh acid paper found in standard notebooks.
-
Great quality in the spiral binding allows for a flexible cover, as well as eliminating non-essential papers
-
Good, heavy paper, great cover, easy to tear out pages
-
The smooth, high quality paper makes the pen glide through the paper as i write
-
Great cover, great paper, great price.
-
and so I prefer a rougher and more off-white paper.
-
Good-quality paper, super durable
-
so it stays open, and good-quality paper
-
Sturdy binding, nice paper to write on
-
The paper itself, if you're not accustomed to it, is suitable for fountain pens, broad and XXF.
-
In fact I much prefer this paper versus Rhodia or Clairefontaine.
-
and so I prefer a rougher and more off-white paper.
-
Fountain friendly paper
-
3) Excellent paper
-
The paper is smooth to write on.
-
While the main feature of the notebook is the fantastic paper quality, other features include a hard front and back cover that easily folds backward and wide ruled lines
-
Great paper quality
-
I am disappointed because I like the paper they used before because I didn't have to worry about it ripping with minimal wear and tear.
-
The quality of the paper feels and looks fantastic; the paper feels very smooth to write on
-
The paper is good quality, although it will bleed a little if you use a black marker.
-
I love the quality paper, the hardback cover, and even the larger rings that allow me to keep my pen inside the binder
-
Good quality paper (doesn't bleed through)
-
The cover is glossy and looks cheap, otherwise it's the same nice quality paper I expect from the Black & Red line and the wires hold without snagging or coming uncoiled.
-
This notebook has outstanding paper - excellent even for fountain pens.
-
Gard civer and very good wuality, smooth paper
-
The paper is pleasantly smooth and heavy and take any type of ink, including fountain pens, very well
-
They're very well made with thick, sturdy covers and nice paper.
-
I love the quality paper, the hardback cover, and even the larger rings that allow me to keep my pen inside the binder
-
Excellent paper, and is the perfect design for my use
-
These notebooks are amazing, the paper is sturdy, the book is sturdy, perfect for notes that you need to keep throughout your college career
-
The paper is very smooth, much superior to ordinary notebooks, and is slightly heavier than most
-
Great paper
-
The paper is heavyweight and does not bleed through.
-
The smoothest writing paper ever
-
I'm not a paper pro, but the paper in this is nice and heavyish
-
The paper is so nice and doesn't bleed through so both sides can be used throughout the notebook
-
Great paper quality.
-
The perforation is very fine and this paper works well for correspondence too.
-
This paper is heavy and smooth and inks will not bleed through and there will be minimal (if any) pressure marks going through to the back of the paper.
-
Nice heavy paper that the ink from my Pilot Precist V7 RT pens (yeah, I'm a bit peculiar
-
Quality cover, good size, smooth paper, easy to write it and coil doesn't get in the way when you're writing.
-
It would be nice if this exact paper was available in loose leaf, unruled, and other options.
-
But, considering the price, it contains about half as many pages as I would like.
