    • Important, if your power port is live all the time (mine turns off with the car) then you’re going to need to remember to remove the plug to power down the cam or your battery is going to drain

    • My biggest concern was that the camera would drain the battery since I had seen this talked about on several comments and reviews.
    • Even the available BlackBox Pro battery protector has the dashcam going through a lighter plug
    • I think what this means is that if the battery voltage gets to below 11.8 volts, the dash-cam will automatically shut off so that you won't accidently have a dead battery
    • I wish it had better power management when in park mode because if left on for more than a day without driving it will drain the large battery in my Tahoe.
