I found that the angled tip did not provide a solid line when writing on an upright board

The colors are great, markers write ok (a bit scratchy, have to smoosh down the tips first to get a smooth line) but some do not erase at all--they leave really bad stains.

Compared to another brand I bought before (Bistro Chalkmarkers) they are too light on the colors and the markers don't make good lines

These have two tips you can use, one pointed tip (good for fine lines, not good for filling in), and one flat/wide tip (not good for fine lines, but good for filling in)

If your chalkboard is at all porous, the chalk can leave faint ghost lines--you might need a "magic sponge" to clean it.

I will buy another brand next time - Bistro Markers - they are more expensive but they are high in quality - perfect lines and darker colors!
