I have a Blue Yeti mic that is super sensitive, and a pop filter is a must if you like to be close to the mic for good sound

From what I understand, pop filters soften the sound from your voice, so its more consistent throughout, as well as protect the microphone from saliva as you speak

Got my pop filter and love it
-
I got it early and tried it out on my Apogee microphone and made a recording of myself making all the obnoxious P sounds I could to test the mettle of this product
-
If you have any spits, or tend to exaggerate your P, T, D's, this is a necessity to keep those sounds from becoming a popping noise in the reproduction.
-
The audio waveforms show a substantial difference as well with my "S", "P", and "B" noises
-
Absolutely love it, gave it a real nice "P" filled test in my first video I used it for and it worked great

Excellent quality; doesn't filter all the crisp t's, p's, and s's, but it is very good.

Auphonix also sends you a pdf of how the popfilter should look when it's put on correctly, and a handy e-book on how to get great audio, which will be useful to me as I'm a beginner with mics.
-
As a side note, the company sent me a free e-book with recommendations on how to get good sound quality out of my recordings.
