so I could use it just to keep my legs comfortable even though I wasn't going to sleep on the day time flight

I tied it around the steering while and being far enough away from the wheel was able to get the "feel" of having my leg elevated anks it provided relief enough for me to be able to use my right leg to drive

It did support my legs a little, enough that it did help on my 9 hour trip, but not as much as I would have liked.

The strap needs to be able to take up about 3 more inches to suspend the sling to support your legs and it just doesn't.

Not enough leg room in economy to actually use it

Helped support your legs without having them down the whole flight.

Great for a long flight when you need to elevate your legs a bit.
