All the annoying noise is shut off and you can concentrate on relaxing or working

Well worth the price I paid but I will say these are not noise canceling but noise isolating

ANC on is unusable - constant white noise - like a ghost breathing into your ear

One thing I discovered is that on iOS devices if you select the Hip-Hop EQ setting for Apple Music most the dynamic range from Normal mode is restored and the unwanted noise is still reduced!I would suspect that other devices with an equalizer function would have a preset profile that would perform similarly well

Take calls, hear music, go on a flight or on a subway and cancel unwanted noises with the ANC, this headphones does it all

Sound quality is better than average, the active noise canceling works but the music/video quality takes a hit

At this price point I strongly recommend these headphones mainly for the active noise cancellation (which works very well) and the incredible sound quality

I think if the noise cancelling worked I probably would keep them, however they are being returned

Having lost my old sennheisers I was looking to replace them with a nice noise cancelling headphones at around hundred dollars budget

The noise cancelling feature just doesn't work

Personally I don't like is the noise cancellation, cancellation itself works superbly and it filters out noises on the bus and metro, however it also reduces the bass in the music

Noise canceling are not to wipe out all noise but to limit the noise.

The ANC is also good, I just used them in a 2 hours flight in a regional jet and cut the noise significantly, not like a Bose but very well for this price range

And the battery life is good enough to last me more than enough time and the noise canceling works well

The only problem that i had with these headphones was i could hear a low hissing noise when i watch videos, and sometimes i couldn't hear no audio, either though the bluetooth was still connected

I used ANC successfully while riding in a car (was not the driver), at my favorite Starbucks and working in the yard with while using several different powered lawn tools and ANC reduced the unwanted noise

If you're lying down with the noise cancellation activated you will get a loud screeching noise

One more thing -- these work very nicely as "passive noise cancellation" headphones, meaning that they screen out a great deal of ambient noise without your needing to activate the "active noise cancellation" feature, which employs an electronic algorithm to counter the ambient noise
