I took a star off because the microphone catches all the background noise and pretty loudly too.

These sound really good with some decent base and if pressed in all the way, they cut out a lot of background noise.

This feature does not work well, however, as the headphones don't fit well and when they do, the music is very easily drowned out by background noise, especially wind

They are made from high quality materials, sound great (as good as Apple’s), last a long time, pair easily, resist splashes, sweat, moisture, steam, and most of all ...remain in place during bike rides, rowing, or trail runs...which was my reason for buying them
